NOTE: Spring can bring on extreme weather, high velocity winds, torrential rains, hail, flooding and unpredictable climatic events. Laying out the WeedGuard, making plant holes and planting are not recommended during bad weather periods. If you are in a highly exposed field, where winds can be extreme, and heavy rains are expected, it is best to wait until conditions are good before proceeding.     Weed Preventer

    I have been using this product for 3-4 years. It helps to avoid growing of weeds between my tomato plants. It almost all deteriorates by end of a season. To allow more water to the plants, I punch about 1/2" dia. holes with slantly cut PVC pipe around them. I gave 4* because it deteriorates somewhat faster than I would like. My season lasts from mid of May to end of October.

    This product did exactly what we needed it to do. Weed suppression for our first year of growth for new elderberry cuttings. We will definitely be using on our next planting.

    Product degrades to fast to be a weed barrier.

    Worked well to keep weeds at bay early on. But it deteriorates before the plantings have a chance to mature. Would be nice if the deterioration timing was more toward season end.
